Ingliston Country Club & Hotel in Bishopton has a range of events to get you in the Christmas spirit with a sparkling lights switch on, festive market, seasonal movie screenings, and the chance for kids to meet Santa at special breakfast events or Santa’s Grotto, throughout December.

Christmas kicks off at Ingliston with the illumination of the festive lights on Thursday, 29th November (doors from 4pm), serving authentic Bavarian food, washed down with mulled wine and many other festive goodies available throughout the evening, served in our Bavarian Barn as the Christmas lights are switched on. Guests are invited to have their photos taken with Santa & live reindeers, also have sneak preview of our wonderful Santa’s Grotto that will be opening throughout December. Salvation Army will be in attendance and make an evening of it with a screening of Christmas classic, It’s a Wonderful Life, for a donation to St Vincent’s Hospice.

The celebrations continue with “The Spirit of Christmas Festive Market” from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th December in Ingliston’s impressive new, indoor marquee. This traditional Christmas market will feature over 50 stalls offering unique gifts and treats with Santa in residence in his magical grotto.

Children will receive a seasonal treat when they meet Santa at Ingliston on various dates starting from 1st December until 23rd December at Santa’s Grotto, tickets are £8 and bookings for this can made by dialling 01505 864333. Breakfast with Santa takes place on 1st & 2nd December where Guests will enjoy a freshly cooked breakfast served between 9.30am and 10.30am followed by a screening of the popular Christmas movie Elf at 11am when parents can relax whilst the kids are entertained by face painters and a DJ.

Throughout December, a special Christmas fayre menu, including the traditional turkey and trimmings, will be available in Palomino’s restaurant for lunch sittings between 12 and 4pm and dinner from 4pm to 9pm. Diners on Christmas Eve and Hogmanay will also be treated to a special live, musical performance.
For those who want to dance the night away, Ingliston is hosting party nights throughout December, including some evenings with an Abba tribute band. There are also mouth-watering menus designed for guests who will be spending Christmas Day and Hogmanay at Ingliston.
