Academy Coach

Simulator/Assessment Lessons
½ hour £20.00

All new clients must have first lesson on Simulator to allow an assessment of the rider's ability to be made, and so an appropriate horse can be allocated for the academy lesson.


The Clear Round
£10 for 1 round
£15 for 2 rounds
£20 for 3 rounds

Available every second Wednesday from 6pm – 9pm. A relaxed, casual evening to help rider and horse improve their jumping techniques. It's the perfect opportunity to introduce a young horse to the competition environment, jumping and travelling. A simulator assessment required if you haven’t ridden with us before, plus an assessment lesson on the horse chosen for the Clear Round


Mini Pony Club
Ages 4-8 years

Mondays 4.30-5.30pm & 6.30–7.30pm
Thursdays 4.30-5.30pm & 6.30–7.30pm
Cost: £10 per child (1 hour)

A fun way for young kids to learn the basics of how to care for a pony. No experience needed, collect badges and display them on your Pony Jumper (available to buy in our Flying Changes shop).


Pony Club
Age 8 years upwards

Wednesdays 6-8pm
Saturdays 10am-12pm
Saturdays 1-3pm
2 hours - Stable Management (8years+) £15.00 1 hours - Stable Management (4-8 years) £10.00

The Pony Club includes a stable management lecture and practical sessions on mucking out, tack cleaning, plaiting and riding road safety. Spaces must be booked in advance. You do not need to be a current member of Ingliston Riding Academy to participate although you do need to join the Pony Club. An application form can be downloaded and emailed to ridingacademy@ingliston.com .


Pony Walks
Ages 4 – 8 years

Walks include a 15 minute journey around Ingliston's estate. All ponies are guided and accompanied by a qualified instructor. Cost: £10 per child (maximum of 3 children per session)
